Natural gum rosin is added, to make Rosinated Alkyd. Rosinated alkyd are mainly used in furniture coating, where good gloss and hardness is needed with high aromatics solvents.It can be used in economy paints due to high viscocity with mineral oils. Many paint manufacturers uses it in a making general purpose enamel & paints.
